The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, vintage 2015 from the winery Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese, Corvina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, powerful ruby red with slight brightening on the rim. Not quite clearly defined nose, seems slightly closed, subtle chocolate and Amarena cherries. Balanced throughout on the palate with amazing freshness, has juice and is brisk, polished tannins on the mid-palate, long and animating finish.
