The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Aldegheri has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Dindarella, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby with garnet rim. Seems a bit cloudy on the nose, smoke, only behind it comes the fruit. In the beginning a lot of sweet fruit, then opens with quite coarse, also somewhat drying out tannin, on the finish discreet bitter notes.
