The red wine Rossomattone Montefalco Rosso Riserva DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Cantine Briziarelli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points.
Brilliant dark ruby. Raspberry juice and fresh cherry on the nose, elegant savouriness on the finish, delicately floral fragrance. On the palate it shows with a fine sweetness and compact, well-integrated tannins, spans a wide range, hearty in its attack and finish, comes back juicy in the finale.
