The red wine Tenuta San Michele Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Cantine Murgo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
An intense, bright ruby red colour. It has a rich, inviting nose of ripe raspberry and cherry, underpinned by the finest pepper savouriness, and a mineral hint. On the palate it is harmonious and juicy, with a nice freshness, and it unfolds beautifully, is exciting throughout, and has a punchy finish.
