The red wine Nicco Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Capanna has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Shows a somewhat cool and restrained nose of fresh cherries and freshly picked plums. Very good tension on the palate, with a core of crisp fruit and grippy tannins. Dries a little on the finish.
