Tasting Notes

Tasting from 05.11.2005

Deep dark ruby garnet, almost opaque, violet reflections. Intense berry fruit on the nose, blend of spices, cassis and licorice. Enormously massive, powerful tannins on the palate, bitter chocolate enamel. Very high in alcohol, almost somewhat aggressive, idiosyncratic acidity structure, somewhat monstrously outlandish, a "Haudrauf" wine that fulfills all New World clichés.
