The red wine Vignalparco Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Casa Emma has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
This has a bright ruby colour, with a dark core. It has an appealing and multi-layered nose, with aromas of balsamic wood, a fine cardamom spiciness, and some blackberry. There is very vivid fruit on the palate, with plenty of juicy sour cherry, and finely-meshed tannins, and it is has a lovely drinkability.
