The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Casa Emma has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet sheen and a slightly brightening rim. Forest floor, some truffles and cloves on the nose, rich forest fruits and leather on the finish. Present but well-integrated tannins on the palate, somewhat drying on the finish.
