The red wine Montarsiccio Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Casa Sola has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, deep garnet in colour. Ripe wild berries, cassis, black currants and elderberry on the nose. Shows many layers on the palate and a beautiful ripeness that's supported by tightly woven, fine-meshed tannins. Plenty of drive on the finish.
