Tasting from 13.02.2020: Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem

This has a deep dark ruby red colour. On the nose there are aromas of cherry compote, ripe raspberry, then some oak savouriness, and a hint of coconut. It is powerful and vivid on the palate, unfolding nicely, showing rich oak tannins in the background, and it should still mature well.
