The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Casaloste has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense purple with a slight ruby tinge. Nose rich of Amarena cherries and plums, with fine savoury notes of cloves and anise. Multilayered on the palate with great richness and consistency, spreads wide, completely engaging, finishing long, clear and slightly salty.
