The red wine Inversus Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Casaloste has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby red with purple reflections. Spicy nose of pepper and cloves, then very ripe black cherries, blackberries and dark forest fruits, with a touch of coffee in the aftertaste. A juicy fruit core on the palate, spreads beautifully over the tongue, with a slightly drying tannic finish.
