Bright ruby red with a shiny core. Fragrant nose of ripe wild berries, roasted walnuts, some rum steeped fruit, plus subtle earthy hints. On the palate very grippy tannins, salty undertone, but becomes loosely knit in the back, definitely needs several more years of ageing.
