The red wine Rio Sordo Barbaresco, vintage 2013 from the winery Cascina delle Rose has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby-garnet color. Finely drawn nose with notes of sour cherries, cherry stones, also fine raspberry, very clear. Juicy and present on the palate, unfolds with fine-meshed tannins, elegant and fine, lots of fruit on the finish.
