The red wine Suculé Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Cascina Lo Zoccolaio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby red colour. Nose of precious wood, pickled cherries and ripe notes of wild berries, echoes of cranberries and candle wax. Initially very fruity and juicy on the palate, but also shows a rich wood flavour with plenty of muscle on the finish, powerful, light dryness, can mature well.
