The red wine Südtirol Pinot Nero Riserva Burgum Novum DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, medium-dense ruby. Appealingly intense nose with notes of sour cherry, cranberry, raspberry, fine cloves in the background. Juicy and clear on the attack and on the palate, opens with lots of fine tannins, beautifully interwoven and with a sweet core, lots of raspberry, firm pressure on the finish.
