The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Castello di Monsanto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Fine savoury notes on the nose, later orange peel, raspberries and plums. Taut, almost a little savoury on the palate, with firm tannins and tension. Good medium palate drive, persistent on the finish. .
