The red wine Gallina Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Neive has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright intense garnet red. Very clear and appealing nose of dried mushrooms, raspberries, strawberries and some leather. Shows many layers of fine-meshed tannin on the palate, salty, deeply concentrated with a long finish.
