The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Verduno has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red. Aromas of black cherries, plums and black elderberries, underlaid by cinnamony wood savouriness. Shows itself on the palate with compact and vivid tannin, good concentration of fruit and a touch dry on the finish.
