The red wine Barolo DOCG Massara, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Verduno has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, shimmering cherry red with a copper touch. Hearty aromas of ripe blackberries and cloves, also some cinnamon and thyme, with a hint of leather. Delicate on the palate with a beautiful acidity, elegant red fruit, juicy on the palate with a radiant core, persistent and silky on the finish.
