The red wine Ripa delle More Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello Vicchiomaggio has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
There is a rich ruby red colour. On the nose light nuances of bret, with rum-steeped fruit, plenty of alcohol, and fine oak savouriness. On the palate it is vivid and juicy, with nice dark berry notes, unfolding beautifully, it is appetizing and lively, and has slightly grippy tannins on the finish.
