The red wine Ripa delle More Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Castello Vicchiomaggio has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby red. Rich expression of blackberries, chestnut honey, blood orange and some mint on the nose, reminiscent of graphite in the finish, very rich and inviting. Hearty on the palate, with strongly vivid fruit, embedded and soft tannins, comes in several layers, full-bodied and warm.
