The white wine Limoux AOC Melhorier, vintage 2017 from the winery Cathare - Franck Schisano has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Very fruity on the nose with notes of papaya and dried mango alongside a slight woody note. Tight, dense, almost biting on the palate in its pithy combination of acidity and substance, a well-bundled, very young white that will acquire a beautiful elegance during bottle ageing.
