Dark ruby red. A spicy and slightly vegetal nose, with raspberry, elderberry and ripe plum. Extremely powerful on the attack, marked by some subtle smoked bacon aromas and peppery spice. Somewhat rustic but well-integrated tannins supported a finish with roasted notes.
