The red wine Hermitage AOC Gambert de Loche Rouge, vintage 2011 from the winery Cave de Tain l'Hermitage has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah
First there are aromas of maturity: some leather, some fig, plum, damson and bitter chocolate. On the palate it is generous and creamy with fine tannin and intense mineral, très gourmand, viscous yet with some drinking flow, mild acidity but still emphasises the creaminess, the minerality gives freshness and juicy elegance. .
