The red wine Gambert de Loche Hermitage, vintage 2015 from the winery Cave de Tain l'Hermitage has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah
Plum, elderberry and damson, also a first hint of ripe aromas, a touch of Marsala. The wine is dense and juicy on the palate, clearly tactile and mineral, but still has a youthful firmness and almost hardness to it, but the slight astringency is countered by flavour and juice. On the nose, it seems more developed than on the palate, but undoubtedly has substance and further ageing potential.
