The red wine Passion, vintage 2017 from the winery Cave du Vieux Moulin – Famille Papilloud has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Carminoir, Cornalin, Merlot from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Shines dark red in the glass. It's intensely savoury on the nose with notes of pepper and liquorice, along with dark fruited blackberry. Round and similarly spiced on the palate with beautiful texture and a quite intense but fine tannin impression. Good length with fruit, savouriness and coffee notes all in play.
