The red wine Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Cavedini has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella , Croatina, Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Smells initially of burnt rubber on the nose, then of sultanas, violets and roses, plus fine oak with a slight vegetal undertone. Lots of sweetness on the palate, purple fruit, with a noticeable vegetal-brittle tannin in the background.
