Tasting Notes
A medium-bodied red with a complex bouquet - notes of licorice, ripe strawberries, wood glue, allied to a marked barrel imprint. A powerful attack on the concentrated palate, which shows noticeable alcohol (and an impression of sweetness), but well-supported by tannins and appropriate acidity. The finish is still marked by wood. An ambitious, youthful wine that will improve with time.
