Tasting from 21.04.2023: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Brightening ruby red with flint core. Fragrant nose of pomegranate, rose petals, fresh raspberries and wild strawberries, blood oranges, delicate hints of nutmeg. Medium-bodied palate with a fine sweet-creamy fruit texture, currently still shows some bitterness at the back. Overall, a bit lean for an Amarone.
