Tasting Notes
1976 was one of the first years that required an early harvest due to drought and heat: the start was on September 1st. The wine is in incredible form: Tobacco, some light coffee, plus nutty and dried fruit notes. The palate is distinctly salty, almost sherry-like but surprisingly fresh. Also shows a fine perlage. Long finish. (Deg. 03/26)
