Tasting Notes
A difficult year that went down in history as a frosty vintage. The frosts lasted for three weeks, with temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees in Champagne. Some vineyards were destroyed and the harvest was minimal. The bottle tasted here was disgorged the same morning and was phenomenal. With notes of nougat, nuts and cubeb pepper, as well as fruity nuances. Extremely fresh on the palate, with a still noticeable perlage and very delicate structure. Lingers for a long time. A wine that would be appreciated blind for a maximum of 30 years. (Deg. 03/26)
