The red wine Le Carillon d'Angelus, vintage 2022 from the winery Château Angelus has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region St. Emilion in France.
Dark ruby garnet, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle rim brightening. Floral, candied purple fruit, black cherries, some coconut, subtle hints of mint, some lime. Juicy, very elegant, fine extracted sweetness, ripe cherry fruit, mineral and long lasting, savoury finish, some nougat on the back palate.
