The red wine Chapelle d'Ausone, vintage 2022 from the winery Château Ausone has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Emilion in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe black cherries, hints of liquorice, some plums, nuances of spices and oranges. Juicy, red wild berries, integrated tannins, mineral and fresh, already well-developed, shows length and finesse, a multi-faceted food wine.
