The red wine Pagodes de Cos, vintage 2018 from the winery Château Cos d'Estournel has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc from the region St. Estèphe in France.
Deep ruby with purple reflections and subtle ochre on the rim. An inviting bouquet of dark wild berry confit underpinned by candied orange zest, a hint of fig and nougat. Juicy and ripe on the palate with pronounced plum and cherry fruit, ripe tannins and a touch of chocolate. Long lasting and already drinking well, with length and definite ageing potential.
