Tasting from 08.08.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

An earthy touch and a spicy hint of nettle accompany the less obvious red fruit of this wine. There is the ripe, red cherry of 2019 and a hint of tart berry. The palate also holds back on its elegant fruit and for now boasts both a firm structure with ripe tannins and a certain creamy richness, well countered by inherent freshness. This is muscular and taut and has lovely depth. Very Pommard.
