Deep ruby garnet, violet reflections, broad watery rim, intense black berry fruit, hints of licorice and cassis, a hint of honey and candied orange zest, some vanilla, multi-faceted bouquet. Full-bodied, black cherries, present, firm tannins, dark minerality on the finish, delicate hints of plums and nougat in the aftertaste.
