Tasting from 16.02.2022

Dark ruby garnet with a deep core, purple reflections and a touch of edge brightening. A hint of dried plums on the nose, but also red berry nuances, a subtle herbal savouriness and candied orange zest. Juicy, sweet Vieilles Vignes character to the fore on the palate with supporting, ripe tannins and chocolaty nuances on the finish which shows good length and a mineral and persistent character. A complex food companion with charm and certain ageing potential.
