Deep dark ruby, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. On the nose subtle nuances of fig, ripe plum, and nice fine oak nuances. Compact vivid tannins on the palate, with nougat, good length, some minerality, and a herbal savoury touch on the finish. It definitely needs further ageing, and it has good development potential.
