Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening, fine hints of strawberry jam, delicate notes of plums and blackberries, orange zest. Medium body, red cherries, present tannins, spicy nuances, fresh acidity, dark minerality, currently still slightly bitter on the finish.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, dark core, delicate watery rim. Nose with concentrated but fresh dark fruit. Beautiful spicy notes. Opulent and rich on the palate, ripe dark fruit, not as mild and sweet as in 2011, somewhat juicier, fresher, also more rugged due to the dense tannin structure. Earthy, mineral components, tastes very intense and therefore lingers for a long time. Has ageing potential.
