The red wine Château Quinault L’Enclos, vintage 2005 from the winery Château Quinault L'Enclos has been rated in 2006 with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region St. Emilion in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, almost black core, violet reflections, delicately high-toned, somewhat perfumed fruit on the nose, with some baked goods underneath. Rather austere and mineral on the palate, shows a serious character, some dark chocolate, needs to unfold properly, is quite encapsulated at the moment.
