Tasting from 08.09.2016: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem

Black forest berry jam, sweetly underpinned with fine wood savouriness. Plum, blackberries and licorice, along with candied orange zest, cardamom and nougat. The palate is -powerful with a fruity-sweet core of ripe, vivd cherries, and supporting tannins. Savoury nuances on the lengthy finish as well as a mineral touch and chocolate-plum echoes. Accessible, with great ageing potential.
