The fortified wines Cockburn’s Bicentenary Vintage Port, vintage 2015 from the winery Cockburn’s Port has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional from the region Douro in Portugal.
Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Intense bouquet of fresh plum roast, floral nuances underlaid with candied violets. Substantial, ripe dark berry fruit, a touch of prunes, elegant, nuances of Amarena cherries and blueberries, subtle honey and nougat, good length, can be enjoyed quite young.
