Tasting from 26.04.2022: Peter Moser & Anne Krebiehl MW

Wet soil, ash, smoke and decaying autumn leaves make for a very earthy nose at first but air allows violet, plum and blueberry shine through. The palate also has lovely notes of earthiness, almost of soy sauce, that sits well with the by now resolving but still firm tannins. A lovely note of freshness appears on the finish and another cloud of woodsmoke. Drink now until 2040. AK
