The red wine Rosso di Montalcino DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Collosorbo has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Ruby red colour with dark core. Ripe wild strawberries on the nose, dark cherry, some white chocolate, black pepper and cinnamon on the finish. Fresh notion on the palate, shows firm core and rich fruit texture, reminiscent of black cherry, noticeable use of wood, currently with grippy tannins and dry finish.
