The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Pietra Rossa DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Contucci has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino, Mammolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, dark, shiny ruby. Inviting, elegant nose of ripe raspberries and sugar strawberries, wild berries, underpinned by delicate notes of undergrowth, bourbon vanilla, multi-layered. Rich and balanced initially ad when developing, well-integrated oak, spans tightly, beautiful texture, very long finish.
