Lustrous, deep ruby with purple glints. Very distinctive, compact nose, full of blackberries and preserved cherries, some chocolate and bourbon vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, displaying an abundance of juicy, dark cherries, unfortunately, a somewhat drying wood nuanced tannic finish.
