The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Corte Scaletta has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red colour with a subtly brightening rim. Aromas of cranberry confit, molasses, rich cherry fruit and subtle milk chocolate on the nose. Very clear and very fruity on the palate, embedded in fine wood tannins, still young, its juiciness makes it easy to drink.
