The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Corte Scaletta has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny ruby with a high garnet content. Somewhat cloudy nose of red onion jam, then some leather and tobacco, the fruit remains in the background. Gripping, very luxuriant tannin characterises approach and course, pithy and much drive on the finish.
