Impenetrable purple-red colour. Spicy, multi-layered aromas of coffee, stewed plums and blackberries on the nose, followed by a hint of clove and allspice. Full and intense on the palate, a little black olive, plenty of drive, lingers for a long time, then a little loosely knit tannin in the finish.
